Broken: Wal-Mart "Quick and Delicious" meal solutions CD
This is a picture of the cover of a CD that was given out for free at Wal-Mart.
It reads, "Quick and Delicious meal solutions" above the picture of the dancing, happy penguin. This make you wonder just what the main ingredient of the recipes will be.
LKM is right, and even without the "happy feet" there it says, "fresh ideas for frozen." What's that supposed to mean.
A recipe cd seems fairly innocuous when you compare it with some of the other cross-promotional efforts that Happy Feet took on. How about pharmaceuticals? http://www.flufacts.com/
Of course, penguins + the flu = marketing gold....or maybe not.
"Fresh Ideas for Frozen Happy Feet!" :P
Not to mention it says in the white print that it has Happy Feet trading cards (?) and recipes. What?
Oh, yeah. The penguin movies are a bit cute, but they are boring and predictable. The only funny part about Happy Feet was the "Mexican" penguins.
i think the graphic designer screwed up. cause that doesn't really make sense.
that is kinda funny
mmmmm deep fried penguin feet lol
Zolo1243, people who are offended by the misuse of the English language are not morons. Plus, the fact of the matter is that the marketing people for Wal*Mart and the film "Happy Feet" put a penguin on the cover of a recipe CD. That would be like putting a seal on the cover of a fur coat catalog.
That said, I'd like to see if they have any stew recipes for Emperor Penguin...

Chicken fingers, buffalo wings...why not penguin toes?
You're right, this is really grisly. Looks like no one gave this much real thought.
