Broken: Security website name
This company's name is "Prevent Security" and their web address is www.preventsecurity.com.
I would think that "Ensure Security" or any company name similar to that would be more appropriate to their mission - or are they really trying to *prevent* security?
they could have named it "prevent threats" or something. "prevent security" just isnt a good name for a company if they want customers to use there product for security
lol maybe the software disables the already crap security features in windows XP
IMHO its broken
I don't think this is as broken as it seems. While confusing, the tagline says "stop trouble before it starts," which leads me to believe they are saying they prevent the need for security because any threat has already been eliminated or something. And while it's a bit cryptic and I'm not entirely sure how they do that, the name does make sense to me.
Perhaps, but the purpose of security is to stop threats, and it's quite difficult to stop trouble before regular security, because you'd have to zap the thief while he's at home preparing or something. Besides, it's Prevent Security, not Prevent the Need for Security. Well, it could be better worded.
Pc nut, this isn't software, as you can clearly see in the picture, it's a website for security products.
Definitely broken though.
They need to have "Prevent" in huge letters, double underlined, and in red. Security should be to the side and in black.
This name is structured like other common business names, where there's an adjective followed by the generic description of the business, e.g.: "A-1 Locksmith", "Speedy Plumbing", "Reliable Roofing", and so on.
So they went ahead and did the same thing, but picked a stupid adjective.
The company name totally makes sense. They're a security company. They prevent bad things from happening to whomever they're protecting. That said, I think this is freaking hilarious! Prevent Security... Very nice! =D
"Pc nut, this isn't software, as you can clearly see in the picture, it's a website for security products."
opps my bad. just wasnt looking at it properly.

Is this company, by any chance, owned by Microsoft?
First.
