Broken: (Just for fun) Strange menu item
A reader submits the menu from Cheng's Garden restaurant in Enfield, Connecticut. "Strange Flavor Chicken - yum!!!"
Not broken--this is a known Chinese recipe. Eileen Yin-Fei Lo's got it in her book "Chinese Kitchen". The "strange taste" comes from Sichuan peppercorn paste.
