Broken: (Just for Fun) Boiler "out of order" note
Meghan Elizabeth took a picture of a note she found in her New York City Apartment:
The boiler in my apartment building usually quits a couple of times each winter. I found a funny note in my apartment that someone posted:
Boiler Out of Order
Waiting for Godot, The Mechanic
When will it work?
I did not add the Godot reference to the sign, but I am willing to befriend whoever did.
This one gets triple "This is Broken" honors:
1. The boiler is broken, as the sign indicates.
2. The sign is broken, because it is a small piece of paper stuck to the wall with masking tape.
3. The landlord, who won't get someone to fix the boiler.
The sign is pretty funny. It's nice that some people can find humor even in dire situation (i.e. no heat in the middle of winter!)

I'm always a big fan of comedic warning/out of order signs. Comedy is always a good thing.
