Broken: Chase Online page
I got this interstitial page when logging on to my Chase credit card account. The only option is to go to my account page, which is what I asked for in the first place.
I'm glad that the Chase site is giving me the option to not see this page again, but why did it show me this page to begin with?
"A reader?" I have a name!
Incidentally, it happened again yesterday. Interesting that it would finally get posted today!
I would guess that that blue box was supposed to contain some sort of sales message - "free checking for a year: tell me more/go to my account" Only they forgot to put something in there.
And it happened again today! One thing I just noticed is that every time this happens, I also have a new message in my "messages from customer service" inbox thing (why they don't just send those by email I don't know). So it's probably supposed to be a message about having a new message in my inbox. Which is also, er, kinda broken, that they feel the need to give me a message telling me I have a message.
I think it is a cookies game, if you clean up you history and cookies in you computer it will turn normal again. It called customer convinience to direct a customer to the certain page automatically since they [computer remembers where you been and who you are] ..
so may be it is not so broken after all, it is a technological overlap, maybe, but there is nothing disturbing here, I think.
