Broken: Broke store
Joe Altschule submits a picture taken in Barcelona, Spain:
This must be the flagship store for all things broken. Not only is the name of this store "Broke," but it was also closed when I saw it and took the picture.
I really don't have much to say on this one. Not to be rude or anything, but I don't find this as amusing as it once was. I am really sorry, but I can't really find any humor in this post. We need some original, good posts soon, not just obscure engrish.
Good for a laugh or two, but for those who understand other languages, something that makes sense to us may be seen vey differently (ex: in Polish , the name of Florida's governor means roughly the F word). Not necessarily broken, just funny
What's the round sign on the other side of it? Something like "No prohibitions of the color blue allowed" ?
It's an Italian clothing store.
And it is closed.
Should this not be in "Just for Fun?" Otherwise, I see no way in which it is broken.
You guys know what? I am sick and tired of every day that someone come and make a absolutely useless post going Im first! I'm first! I wish you all would stop doing that its ****ing annoying! Not to mention its so childish, and ***. I would say the people who go around doing tis are the ones who are broken here! Just please stop it!
ROFL!!! That's the funniest store name I've ever seen!
BROKEN like the wind, and BROKEN like nothing else!
I'm going to take the stance that it's significant in Spanish or Italian or whatever, and dumb in English. Also it's probably siesta. Or not.
BTW, I am sick of people posting "First", especially when that's all they post, but there are more civilized ways to vent your frustration.
Hunk o'mercy! Great shades of Ceasar's ghost! You know the old saying? If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. I almost believed this was true until I read about it being in Barcelona. Guess what? I looked on a map. There is no such place!! It's a figment of your imagination.
I like WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE Posts
17th!!!
I don't see anything broken about it, and it should be in just for fun. It is somewhat funny though...
Definitely funny, but not broken. I had to post becuse I was in Barcelona once and there are a lot of funny store/resturant names there. One in particular that I recall was a bar called "Barficus" and there is also a popular resturant chain their of American food called "Hippopotamus" where they clearly don't serve Hippo.
The website offered by MinkOWar had a slightly different logo than the photo of the store. I'm guessing Broke Clothing Company changed their logo recently.
is financial institution, or some kind of different instituton... the door is very serious... Is a logo of some company? it is supposed to be flahing at night time ! what goods or service company Broke sells ?
