Broken: Women's Weight Loss location
Spotted in suburban Atlanta, Georgia:
Women's Weight Loss...
.. next door to Ice Cream and Desserts.
How appropriate!
Kinda like how nearly every GNC Nutrition is next door to a Cigarettes 4 Less.
The novel "Novel: A Novel" by George Singleton has a pretty funny take on this sort of thing; a husband and wife start up a rather unconventional weight-loss spa in a small town which works so well that it starts to attract more business to the area. Including an extremely good bakery which moves in across the street.
In my town, there is a Curves (women's exercise) next door to a Chinese restaurant. Actually, in the area, it seems that there is always a Chinese restaurant within viewing distance of a Curves. Looks like a conspiracy.
This is a fairly common occurrence, as both of these types of places tend to be in strip malls. I guess you could think of it as a test. ;-)
gmangw, grant => lmao.
One guy told me his secret to weight control was to skip a meal a day.
I told him that's nothing, I can skip five meals a day.
Dilemma: work out or ice cream? ice cream or work out?
Solution: beer helmet with ice cream smoothie on one side and Red Bull on the other while taking a spinning class.
Heh. There just happens to be an almost exact same situation in my area too. There's an ice cream shop right nextdoor to a Weight Watchers.
The choice is yours, go on a diet, or get some ice cream :)
Y'know what's really broken here ... posting two almost identical pictures and formatting the text as though the second picture added something that the first one didn't have.
There was a Weight Watchers storefront next to a Cake Bakery shop in Chattanooga, TN a few years ago.
