Broken: Misuse of "literally"
I just saw this site and instantly added it to my favorites list: Literally, A Web Log.
An English grammar blog tracking abuse of the word "literally"
Thanks to ZP in the comments boards for the pointer.
I'd subscribe too, if it didn't have broken CSS that doesn't work with Firefox' Smart Bookmarks. Don't people even attempt to test their websites anymore? Criminy.
I literally fell off my chair reading this, and the Titanic is virtually unsinkable. ATM Machines, PIN numbers, your stupid.
Has anyone seen that sketch on MadTV with the bitter married couple that try to use "literally" in every sentence as they berate those around them? I literally peed my pants from laughing too hard once. I wasn't watching that show at the time, it was actually a tickle fight.
idiots, it ismeant to be like that! it mis supposed to show the misuse of it and as a pun uses it wrongly
That's great! I'd love to see one on the misuse of 's! Sundays vrs. Sunday's. That drives me almost as crazy.
