Broken: Camera product copy
John Weber points out the "incompatible convenience" promised in this camera:
Omisys DC6330 is completed with a 3X digital zoom (10 steps), TV out playback, 1.5?color LCD, and USB interface compatibility; all these just to deliver the incompatible convenience.
I like that it's "one of the smallest and [most?] compact" digital cameras, coming in at 2 pounds!! Not to mention that it's 3 megapixels interpolated to 6 megapixels... Can anyone say "false advertising?"
There's also the large amount of grammar typos, like the slogan: "Want quality and serfice fast, we provide it."
These people are obviously foreign, so I'm not sure making fun of their copy mistakes is fair. The 2 lbs. probably refers to the shipped PACKAGE, not the camera. And while the interpolation is pretty shady, at $81, it's priced right.
I can't get past the fragmented sentences in this ad to read any further. No way would I buy a camera from a company or person who can't even put a sentence together. Definitely broken!
It doesn't get much more off-brand than that. Until today, I had never heard of Omisys. Please tell me whoever sent this in is not going to buy that camera...
damn What about the tagline?
Want Quality Service and Fast,We Provide it
perhaps
Want quality service, fast? We provide it to people who can not punshooate.
Yes! 1.5? colors! it's what i've been looking for in a camera! but seriously, send this in to engrish.
All of the poor wording allows this to hide:
Image Sensor
3.3 Mega pixels CMOS sensor interpolated to 6.0 Mega pixels
Wow, that was a pretty screwed up sentence I wrote above, the site is spreading like a virus. Turn back before it's too late.
And... Not only does it have a "Normal 60cm ~ infinity" focus range, but it IDLES! No power save mode, but idling!
