Broken: Sign to secret nuclear bunker
Chris Worth offers up this sign, pointing us in the direction of a not very "secret" nuclear bunker.
Given that it's (now) run as a tourist attraction, it makes perfect sense to have a sign indicating where it is.
Can please, just for once, have a submission about something that is broken ?
Very funny, although again, not broken.
The fact that it is in brown denotes historical significance/landmark, so I tend to agree with Cal.
It is indeed a former secret nuclear bunker, open to the public to tour - and you can find out all about it here (there's a virtual tour as well for those not near Essex, UK).
lol, that's funny.
That's not the same color used to denote parks, though. Perhaps that's the color they use in jolly old England?
JW- Getting old.
I agree with Boo Him. Y'all are spoil-sports.
I'm not sure why we'd expect the operators of this site to verify the brokenness of things independently, when there's a perfectly good comments section that seems to serve that purpose. :)
lol! thats hiliraious, isn't there a real american version of that? and STFU to the people complainging about things that arn't really broken, what do you want me to take a bowling ball to a toaster and submitt the pics?
what do you want me to take a bowling ball to a toaster and submitt the pics?
Yes please. What are you waiting for, a written invitation ?
Funny, but not broken. Could we ease back on the "amusing road signs" category?
More on Kelvedon Hatch bunker here and here. And if this sort of thing floats your boat, the Wartime Tunnels at Dover Castle are also worth a visit.
yes very funny, but what is really broken is the person who always has attitude over whether it is (broken!!!) or not, if it is causes you so much distress then don't visit anymore i for one wont miss the rude comments.
Okay this is really funny, and yes it is broken! correct me if i am wrong but dont secret mean that no noe is suppossed to know about it?
Lol. Nobody sees the humor in this? If it's what people are saying, it should be more clearly labeled. As in "Former Cold War Nuclear Bunker" or something. The fact that its only saying "Secret Nuclear Bunker" doesn't really describe it well.
Can please, just for once, have a submission about something that is broken ?
PhastPhrog, demand a refund.
Silly people, of course it's broken. Anything labelled "secret" is ipso facto broken. The very act of marking a secret as secret makes it not secret.
And it's damned funny, too.
dude stop sucking so much cock, that sign is hilarious, go fuck yur mother or sumthing useful , nobody likes you
hey joshua wood:
I'm not really sure what you mean by
"ALL YOUR BUNKERS ARE BELONG TO US"
but you seem a little too enthusastic about being a dumbass. Go find some grammar.
As someone else said, this is a former cold war bunker, near London. I pass the sings to it frequently, and I've visited it - it's now a very successful tourist attraction. Anyone who lives in the UK will recognise the sign as a tourism sign - they always have a (rather unattractive) drab brown background.

This sign is definitely not broken - it is actually is one of those very rare deomnstations that the people responsible for our UK motorway signs DO actually have a sense of humour, and are prepared to go public with it sometimes.
The guys who bought the bunker from the Government made a very deliberate choice in naming it (very good marketing) and to give them credit, the signage people went along with it :)
But maybe you have to be British to get appreciate the joke and the conspiracy :)
Hey people, (especially Allan Clarke)this site was for people to have fun, not for people to get teased by one person (cough cough Allan Clarke) because he/she thinks that it's not broken.
Oh, i forgot. ALMOST 999999/1000000 OF THE PEOPLE HERE WERE AGAINST CHRIS WORTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
