Broken: Roof-repair ad
Ken Weiner points out that this ad copy might need some improvement.
It's "guarenteed" wink wink...
So I guess that if they've got a shady deal on making roof leaks, I would want to call them and ask them to make my roof leak. Maybe they'd fix it instead.
You're right, Mr. Troux. i "hate" it when "people" use quotes for no apparent reason.
Yeah, this ad is broken, but people are stupid. What is their company even called? It's either not there, or it's 'Roof Leaks,' which is much like naming a hospital 'Sickness General'. Broken!
I've always wanted my roof to leak but couldn't figure out how to do it! Now I can sleep knowing there is a company out there that will guarantee my roof will leak. It's incredible! I wonder if someone can purchase a franchise for this business? I believe it has nationwide appeal!
last month I was in Toronoto for a wedding and my friend took me to a resturant to eat... I refused to go there since their sign advertised
"Lobster" 16.99
What the hell is "lobster".. we were laughing that when we ordered the "lobster" we would really get chicken
"Guaranteed" roof leaks!
Just shoot a gun through your roof before a major rainstorm! Roof leaks "guaranteed" or your "money" back!
I refer those interested in the quotation mark "discussion" to:
http://www.juvalamu.com/qmarks/
I will also note that if a question mark was added after the word "Leaks", this sign would not be nearly as humorous.
I think this posting is broken... when I click the thumbnail, I get a popup window, but instead of containing a picture, it has a bunch of random gibberish characters in it. I don't experience this with any of the other thumbnails.
i had them put leaks in my roof...they do good work...i now have pots and pans all over my house just to catch all the rain...its fun to watch the drops drip in to the pots.
Yes, they do a "great job". For anyone looking for a company specializing in making roofs leak, I would recommend this one.
"This" is broken.
wow i think its a "scam" or somtihn "people" r suposed to think its a "typo" but u really do get a "leaakey roof "
Hey, if they give you roof leaks, and they're probably only entreprenerurs, then how much do professinals make for this job? And Nick, nice spelling.

The "usage" of quotes there is totally "broken." Unless it's some strange usage of the word "guaranteed" that I wasn't previously aware of.
