Broken: Walk sign
This walk sign has the man facing the wrong way. What I noticed was that the sign appears to be built for arrows pointing in both directions and that one of the arrows has been rubbed out. This points to one of two things: laziness on the part of the people who put the sign in, or a lack of inventory of the correct signs.
It's probably more of a budget than a cost thing, since ordering 3 types of signs would cost more thn just ordering a larger number of one sign.
So, while it may me *momentarily* confusing, it's probably helping your tax bill.
The symbolic person also has no neck, face, hands, feet etc etc.
Hello. WHO CARES. Use your common sense.
lol, alright people... the other arrow of the infinite line is scratched off or painted over. Someone deliberately did this. Look at it a little closer. Duh!
Vandilism obviously...Im sure that its not a cost cutting thing, nor bad tracking of inventory, people who think that need to get out more
I'm undecided... here in Canada, if it's one sign for 2 walkways(on double-laned avenues, for example), there is a guy standing up straight and two arrows... so maybe it's a mistake or maybe the arrow's scratched out.
whoever said it was scratched off is an idiot.
the picture also shows the traffic lights to the left. If it was scratched off, then people would have been originally pressing a button to see if they could walk down the sidewalk.

You're supposed to walk backwards across the street.
