Broken: Restroom sign
Seen at a rest stop between Washington, DC and Raleigh, NC. These signs are on the interior of a bathroom stall door.
Thanks to Libby Cecchi!

That kind of sign combination is indeed genuine. It's a common feature at rest areas in Virginia. They are found in the women's restrooms and the spare restroom (which is used separately for both men and women while the regular restroom is closed for cleaning, and is designed as a women's restroom).
However, what's missing in this image is the top hook. There are usually two hooks. One at the expected height (high up, right below the first sign), and then the lower hook designed for purses (so that people can't reach over and steal your purse).
So this sign is "broken" only because the hook that is referenced by the first sign is missing.
Of course, considering that this is a rest area accessible by car, we wonder why people don't just lock their purses in the car and make this a moot point.
I doubt you, Spicy Meatball, will ever check back to see who read your inane post. Which brings up an interesting point. Who is more inane? The doubter, or the one who responds?

Hey, that looks very fake to me, notice how the shadow from the left doesn't effect the sign, and the angle is wrong!? maybe im just to tired to be reasonable, but it looks like some photoshopped shtuff to me
