Benihana sign - a strange customer experience

I like Benihana and all, but this probably isn't the sign to show customers when they walk in the door:

Benihana sign - customer experience

This photo looks manipulated to me -- particularly the "No experience necessary" that appears too crisp with some odd, white-ish glow around it. I'm not sure I believe this photo. (As a Photoshop geek for the past 15 years, I'm a bit skeptical.)

I took the photo. No manipulation.

Benihana's isn't typically a place that a couple goes for a weeknight dinner, right? They focus on celebrations and other larger groups. This sign cheapens the customer's experience by saying, "we'll hire any old schmuck, dress them in whites, and arm them with knives...even YOU!" Looks like all that classwork, practice, and extra effort at culinary school was a waste of time, I could have just applied here, and made a career out of making onion volcanoes and flipping shrimp tails into my toque.

@typeaux "i can see the pixels" LOL

@markhusrt thanks for reminding me why i DON'T eat at benihana.
