Thought for the day: If ignorance is bliss, and if knowledge is power, does that mean that powerful people are all depressed?

No, it means they have a vested interest in keeping us blissfully ignorant.

I believe that knowledge is only powerful when used or shared, and if you are employing your knowledge to make a positive impact, you will be happy. In other words, positive results from knowledge = happiness.

Is bliss supposed to be the opposite of depression???? Also, is power the opposite of ignorance?

Nothing in the set of statements you made equates power with non-bliss. (I'm not saying it is also bliss, but you're asking for a mathematical-like ratio answer without giving apples to apples factors.)
