Radio show with Doug Quin

Doug Quin records unusual sounds in nature - things you can't imagine actually exist - and brings them back from the rainforest or the Antarctic, un-remixed, untouched, for your listening delight and amazement. (Doug spoke at Gel last year and played some of his sounds - awesome.)

I recommend taking a listen to the recent feature on Doug's work in the public radio show "To the Best of Our Knowledge." Just go to the program page, then click the little Listen link (which streams Real Audio, unfortunately). Doug starts at 36 minutes in.

(Doug will again lead the Central Park Sound Walk at Gel 2008 next month - if you want to be at Gel, sign up soon.)

Awesome (except for the RealAudio bit; it baffles me that anyone still uses that).
A bunch of Quin's previous NPR pieces can be found at http://www.dqmedia.com/radio.html.
