I'm sorry, I know it's blasphemy, but I don' think Eric Clapton has done anything good since "Layla." All of his solo work has been lame commercialized rehashed versions of his beloved blues. IMO this is just some guy who, yes, knows how to play a guitar, noodling. It may well be the best Clapton solo EVER, but that's not saying much.
