Broken: Deceptive signage

la-roses.pngThis sign, spotted in LA, is not offering a dozen roses for four bucks. The fine print, invisible to people whizzing by in cars, says it's really $4.99 for a half dozen roses. Broken!

That's only 40% of the value you thought you were getting!

It's the same way with gasoline. Unleaded for $2.63 is actually $2.639. I don't think this sign is broken, just an advertising gimmick used by retail everywhere to draw in customers.
