Broken: Recycling bin design

From the Summer Palace in Beijing: "Recyclable" stuff goes in the left slot, "Other waste" in the right. I guess it all depends on what side you approach it from (like so many things in life).

Maybe it would be easier just to have two cans?

Well, it does have a tidy, well organized appearance...

What we don't see is whether or not there are actually two trash bins on the inside. If placed correctly, putting recyclables in one side and rubbish in the other would actually work. I think in this case, we don't really have enough information to decide whether or not this is 'broken'.

Hi there,
too bad I did not make a picture of the inside, did not think about that in this moment. We had 36°C and where running out of water ;)

But there is just one trash bin inside, that's why it's broken.
